Challenge: Prove with one big, bold, PR-driven idea that entertainment gets better with better sound, using the KPN TV+ Soundbox as the proof.
Insight: When sound hits you right, you feel it, the chills, the goosebumps, the rush.
That’s frisson: your brain firing dopamine like crazy.
In simple terms?
Entertainment without great sound is basically sex without the orgasm.
So to show its power, we need to let people hear what they’ve been missing.
Idea: KPN introduces the refined, clinically sensual Eargasm Experience in the heart of the Red Light District,
a pop-up where people don’t indulge their bodies, but their ears. And no, it’s not naughty. It’s pure sensory stimulation!
Inside, visitors discover how powerful entertainment becomes when sound is truly done right. Guests step into complete darkness as an iconic cinematic sequence unfolds: the “DUM… DUM…” of Jaws, the Titanic’s haunting split, the Stranger Things “Running Up That Hill” crescendo.
Every whisper, tremor and surge becomes physical, immersive binaural audio, subtle vibrations and full-body frisson, building to one peak: the Eargasm.
Then the lights snap on. The twist: All that intensity came from a single KPN Soundbox.
This was a pitch organised by Youngdogs 2025.
We competed against 31 other teams and won silver!
