Debriefing: the KNVB asked us to create a PR-stunt to promote the new national team Kit for the 2024 season, which incluses the European Championship (EK).
Insight: In football, superstition is like a good luck charm for both players and fans. Many players and fans do 'weird' things before a game, kissing eachother's forehead, playing a certain CD, wearing a certain sock. Superstitions give fans a way to feel more connected to their team and add a bit of magic to the unpredictable world of football.
Creation: We involve Dutch fans in bringing the EuroCup title back to the Netherlands, by using the superstition factor. We let Dutch fans touch the new national team kit before they head to the European Championship, letting them be a part of history. Showing support for Oranje and letting them know that we have got their backs, literally.
This was a pitch organised by RA*W, that took place in one full day. We competed against 10 other teams and won the pitch.
